Blog 37 – We made it to Amsterdam

We do not recommend moving internationally during a pandemic lockdown, but with plenty of help, and plenty of patience, we have done it. Below just a few pictures from our first walk from our apartment on the Herengracht Canal. More details to follow soon.

  1. wow, I still want to be you when I grow up! Looks fabulous! Nice to ‘see’ you again (even though no pic of you) and glad you made it safely. What an adventure! Alicia is hoping to move to Amsterdam but not sure when/if it will happen.

    1. Yes, it continues to be good to be me! Some days we cannot believe this is our life, not someone else’s. Amsterdam is much smaller than London and very walkable. The Dutch are practical, liberal, and tall – another kitchen I have to rearrange so I can reach the plates. 🙂 Pictures of me, possibly, once I have a hairdryer that works here. 🙂
